Vipers 10/6-7

10U: Played a DH in Livingston, getting acclimated to the full rules.  Coach Mike could not be more pleased with the team’s progress this weekend…..played first club competition and learned a lot about ourselves…….the girls learned began to learn they can compete at a higher level when they’re focused!  Congrats to this weekend’s bat winner Brooke!…….she overcame some early adversity and bounced back in a big way!

12U White: Played a 2nd year Rockaway Rampage team and experienced first hand what we say all the time: first year 12U is the most difficult transition they will make in their careers.   They will never see a jump as big as this one.  Fall is one long practice…scores really do not matter and the experience gained is invaluable.  As all this happens. the coaches set their agendas for the remaining fall and upcoming winter practices.

12U Black: Played a DH in Midland Park Saturday and at the Somerset Patriots Stadium on Sunday.  More to follow on this.

14U White: Cancelled games due to Columbus Day weekend and other team could not field enough players

14u Black/16U White: Spent the weekend in Howell, NJ supporting the Combined on Saturday supporting the Spina Bifida tournament fundraiser.  They combined on Saturday and then separated on Sunday to play with their own teams.  Sunday competition was much more competitive and was a great tune up for all.   Fro a friendly tournament, scores are not meaningful.  Overall, the girls played well.   Saw the last signs of summer as it hit 87 degrees

18U Gold: Idle, practiced to prepare for upcoming showcase
