This is a new feature we are doing this year, highlighting each of our teams. Jim Gilligan is in his 3rd year coaching with the Vipers and 4th year in the organization. Dino Eliopoulos is in his 3rd year and assistant Jerry Mercadante is in his 8th year.
We hope to see 12U White take the baton and run with it as one of our next great teams.
The NJ Vipers 12U White team finished the Fall 2021 season 22-5-1.
The roster comprised of returning players Caroline Staiano #8, Gia Bonsignore #76, Anna Pascale #41, Julia Marcus #34, Keira Merkel #50, Ella Ferraro #11, Mia Eliopoulos #5 and Olivia Gilligan #29 were joined by newcomers Alexa Butler #14, Ashlynn Buono #2, Julianna Olshalsky #15, Alexa Celentano #00 and Sofia Bussanich #22. The team slugged their way to being this year’s Jefferson League 12U Champs beating the Sparta Blue Diamonds 3-2 in the final.
The team also took their first 2nd place USSSA in New Windsor, NY all while taking a cool 1st place for best dressed in the 8th Annual Headless Horsemen tournament. While the team also took runners up in the Howellween Tournament they went on to beat the 1st place Dutchess Debs in a DH friendly in Old Tappan to finish the season.

No rest for the wicked, we have high expectations for the spring season and winter training will be results driven.
